NetSnap will not dial into an AOL connection

AOL does not support direct dialing through the Windows 95 dial-up networking dialer. Instead you have to start the AOL browser to establish a connection. AOL 3.0 or later establishes IP connections, so you can indeed serve images through the NetSnap WebCam server, however you have to first start up the AOL connection using the AOL browser. NetSnap can not call up the AOL connection directly.

If you require NetSnap to establish the dial-up connection (for scheduling or whatever reason), then you may need to establish an account with a direct Internet Service Provider (ISP) that uses standard dial-up networking (most do, Including Compuserve), or try to find a third party solution that allows scheduled AOL connections to be established. AOL is constantly updating their software and services, so it may be worth your while to ask AOL about Windows95 dial-up networking support.
