Lookup server error messages

Description:

Versions 1.1.7 to 1.1.11 of NetSnap have a bug which exhibits itself when the HTTP service is disabled and the Announcer is still enabled, or when running under the free evaluation version of NetSnap.

Versions affected:

1.1.7 to 1.1.11

Symptoms:

You will notice an error message stating that the lookup server could not be reached. The message appears in about 2-3 second intervals.

Solution:

Enable the HTTP service, even if you are not using it.

Resolution:

Version 1.2 and later of NetSnap will have this problem fixed.
